How to Create a Your Dream At-Home Pilates Studio

There’s something powerful about walking into a space that instantly makes you feel calm, strong, and inspired. That’s the magic of a thoughtfully designed at-home Pilates studio. It doesn’t have to be big. It doesn’t have to be expensive. It just has to feel intentional. I was a Pilates instructor before I had children, and I absolutely LOVED going to the beautiful Pilates studios to teach. The calming space, while building lean muscle inspires and motivates me to want to move every day!

Now, there are so many beautiful at-home Pilates equipment and programs, you can make a beautiful space for yourself right in your home! Of course going to the Pilates studio with others is amazing, but sometimes you don’t have time to head out, and you want to wake up in the morning and go straight into your own, private Pilates studio.

Here’s all the inspiration you need to create a beautiful at-home Pilates studio you’ll actually use.

1. Choose Some Beautiful Equipment

Technically you only need a mat for Pilates, but there are some very affordable, at-home reformers and equipment you can get to really fill out your studio! You can even get two sets, so you and a friend can do your Pilates together!

This is my favorite at-home equipment, because it is solid like the real studio ones, but easy to fold and store if needed!

The Balanced Body Pilates Studio Reformer is the real deal.

The Balanced Body Pilates full studio equipment with the trapeze is even better! With this, there are no limitations on what you can do, and you can have a private instructor come to take you through endless workouts!

Balanced Body Allegro 2 Pilates Reformer is the perfect, lighter option that gives you the basics, and doesn’t take up much space!

2. Add some PVOLVE Equipment:

To make the most of your space, I highly recommend adding some PVOLVE Equipment. It looks beautiful in studio, and it will allow you to add on to your Pilates workouts with more sculpting and cardio workouts, but still stick with the same Pilates concept.

3. Get Your Arched Mirrors With Beautiful Lights

The mirrors help tremendously when perfecting form during a workout. You can even add a ballet bar for additional barre classes in your studio too.

4. Add in Beautiful Storage Set Ups

5. Get A Beautiful Pilates Sign

Pilates is about control, breath, and presence. Your space should feel grounding.

6. Dress the Part – The Perfect Pilates Sets

Make sure you have some cute outfits ready to go! All these outfits are on Amazon, affordable, and super cute!
